I hold a Ph.D. in Human Development and have worked as a university professor and administrator for over 25 years. My passion is spiritual growth and development. I have completed a 3-year spiritual direction training program.
I am:
- Holding sacred space to support your spiritual growth and development
- A member of Spiritual Directors International
- An Episcopalian
- Married, and the mother of two grown children
- Familiar with the 12-steps
- Recovered from all the eating disorders
- Aligned with mindful eating principles and a founding member of The Center for Mindful Eating
I have explored:
- Buddhist chanting
- Transcendental Meditation
- Centering Prayer
- The eight limbs of yoga

About Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction involves meeting with a spiritual director (also called a spiritual companion), usually for one hour once per month, to explore your own spiritual life. You do not need to belong to any particular religion in order to engage in spiritual direction. My job as a spiritual director is to ask questions and help you explore the spiritual aspects of your life.

My fee for new spiritual direction clients is $75 per hour.
The first session is free.
I meet via Zoom or in person, with a strong preference for Zoom.
We could also talk on the phone to start.

Note: I will be taking a sabbatical from my full time job in academia and my part time job in spiritual direction in the spring of 2025. I will not be seeing clients during that time, but I will be growing and transforming my spiritual direction practice to include mindful eating.
